Today, make a decision to be sanctified—separated completely from anything that entangles you and hinders your communion with God and His service.
The scripture reminds us in 1 Thessalonians 5:23 (Wuest An Expanded Translation):
“Now, may the God of peace Himself consecrate you, every part of each one of you, to His worship and service, and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved in their entirety blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Let this be a moment to reflect on our commitment to God’s service, to purify ourselves from distractions, and to focus wholly on our divine purpose. When we are sanctified, every part of us—spirit, soul, and body—is preserved and set apart for His glory.
May this scripture encourage you to lay aside every weight that slows you down and walk in alignment with God’s calling, being ready for His coming.
