Preamble
In the year 2018, on the 9th Month, the SSMC was born here in Uganda. This was in line with the apostolic commission already established in Kenya 7 years ago, where this Conference has been taking place. The SSMC has already been conducted in Dare-salaam, Tanzania twice.
Recently we have become more aware of the spiritual DNA of the Ugandan church. She is a Nation whose prophetic mandate is to birth moves of God in the region (from historic testimonies) particularly in relationship to Kenya.
We have experienced the presence of God in the meeting, followed by accurate prophetic words to bring back the church in Uganda back to her purity in the gospel of Jesus Christ and we believe this has has had great impact in many ways. Those of who attended can attest to the fact that God is doing a new thing in Uganda.
The relationship between the Kanaabo’s Family in Uganda and Juma’s Family from Kenya has laid the foundation for and provided the Wineskin for activating the Prophetic word spoken and strategically preparing and securing the future of this new work in Uganda. The coming in of Dr. Ben Mwima into the assignment in this nation as an apostolic teacher has great value to the assignment.
1. Vision
To Build Ministers to Function as Strong Leaders in the Kingdom of God.
2. Mission
Our Mission is to Encourage, Empower, Envision, Align, Build, Impart, Equip, Activate and Commission ministers to their ministerial functions.
3. History/Leadership
The leadership of this apostolic commission came about through Apostle David Juma (www.davidjuma.com) and his wife, Pastor Asunta Juma, who have been conducting leadership training conferences and seminars across several nations. They have been in ministry for over 35 years and currently lead an apostolic and prophetic ministry in Nairobi, Kenya. They have traveled into Uganda for many years out of a burden for the body of Christ in the region. They carry a specific mandate to be an apostolic and prophetic voice into the Nations, especially to the church leaders both Old and New. Following the wise saying that “as the church leadership goes, so goes the nation”, the season has come to accelerate the training of church leaders to be Christ-like for a Christ-like church.
4. Strategy/Plan
The Plan and strategy is to conduct the “Standing Strong Ministers Conference” in Uganda’s Key Provincial towns so as to mobilize, gather and train Fivefold ministers across the Country. This will be done Relationally and in Three years (2019-2021), we should see a new move of God touching not only the Fivefold ministers, but believers across different sections of the body of Christ.
5. Develop a National Working Team
Select and appoint a WorkingLeadership Team comprising Marketplace leaders, those with Ministry of Helps and Administrators to help organize the future endeavors. We shall also explore to work with other working teams in the nation for synergy and recognizing the nationals who are already on the ground with workable networks of leaders.
6. Budgeting & Financing
As the work of God is done by Faith, we trust God to stir up people to buy into the vision and support it to meet the needs that will arise. Since, we believe in partnerships and relationships in the body of Christ, we shall work with like minded people to fulfill the mission.
7. The Areas of Concern
The teachings will cover different areas of concern as per the needs of the church leaders in different regions, coupled with certain foundational teachings for church leadership to strengthen the ministers of God.
